Five steps. No crypto background required. Works from phone or desktop.
Sign in with email + password — no seed phrase, no wallet setup. Vorepo gives every user a unique Solana deposit address you can fund from any wallet. Google / Apple login is on the roadmap and will be added once founder wires the OAuth flow into the UI. Takes 30 seconds.
Two ways: credit card via Coinbase Onramp (fastest, 2-5 minutes), or send USDC directly from another Solana wallet (instant, no fee). Minimum deposit $5. No identity verification at signup; thresholds for high-volume withdrawals are described in Terms.
$0.25 flat (Solana network fee included).
Browse the Markets page. Sort by 24h change, velocity, or stars. The Alpha Signals section highlights repos currently trading 2+ standard deviations above the platform mean velocity — those are your "hot right now" candidates.
On the repo page: select BUY or SELL, enter share quantity, click the action button. You get a real-time price quote (current price + fee + impact). Confirm, and the trade settles instantly against the platform reserve.
The Portfolio page shows your holdings, unrealized P/L, and equity curve. Close positions with one click — sell back to the reserve at the current market price. Withdraw USDC to your wallet any time.
Vorepo applies tiered withdrawal authorization to protect your funds — the bigger the amount, the more verification we ask for.
A repo with 200k stars isn't automatically better than one with 5k. Look at star_velocity_24h — 100 stars/day on a 5k repo is signal, 100 stars/day on a 200k repo is noise.
By the time a repo is on HN front page, the first 20% of the move happened. Our Alpha Signals catch it earlier, but even earlier is better — watch github.com/trending language pages.
After 7 days of no release or commit activity, our composite starts penalising. Stars gained don't help if the project looks stale. Sell before the decay, not after.
Large positions in a small-market ticker already move the price. Stay under a few percent of supply when starting out. You can always exit, but exit prices reflect your own order impact.
1% on buy + 1% on sell = 2% round trip at steady state. You need a 2%+ move to break even. Day-trading small moves rarely works. Plus subscribers pay 0.5% / 0.5% — 1% break-even. Note: the volatility cap can raise the rate during high or extreme moves.
New major releases (React 20, PyTorch 3) trigger buzz spikes within hours. If you hold the ticker before the release, you often see 15-25% moves. Calendar-aware trading works here.
